Trial Licence
Try ChromMine™ free for one week.
ChromMine™ runs in your browser. There is nothing to install and no payment card to enter – a trial gives you and up to three colleagues the full application for one week.
How to Start
1. Go to chrommine.com and choose Get Access. It sits next to Sign In on the front page.
2. Tell us who you are. Your name, your company or organisation, and your work email address. Please use your work address: a trial sets up an organisation for you, and we cannot do that from a personal mailbox.
3. Check your inbox. We will email you a username and a temporary password, usually within a few minutes. If nothing arrives, look in your spam folder before trying again.
4. Sign in and choose your own password. The temporary one works once, and you will be asked to replace it.
5. Read and accept the licence agreement. It appears the first time you sign in, and stays available inside the application whenever you want to read it again.
6. Start work. Upload your peak table as a CSV — or open one of the sample datasets included with every new account, and see how ChromMine™ works before you bring your own data anywhere near it. (check out the video below to see how to do this)
Bringing your colleagues in
Colleagues ask for access exactly the same way, using their own work address at your organisation’s domain. They join your workspace rather than starting a trial of their own. Up to four people from one organisation can be in a trial at the same time – the first request starts it, and we approve the ones that follow.
Good to know
– Your data stays yours. Files you upload are held in memory for the length of your session and are never written to our database. When the session ends, they are gone.
– The invitation lasts seven days. If you do not get to it in time, simply ask for access again.
– An organisation gets one evaluation window. If one week is not enough, or more of you need to take part, tell us – we would far rather extend your trial than have you rush it.
– On a personal email address? If you work for yourself, or your organisation does not issue addresses, the form will ask you to tell us about your work instead, and somebody will get back to you.
